Small earthquake rattles Orcas Island

SEATTLE - A small earthquake shook the San Juan Islands Tuesday morning.

The earthquake occurred on Orcas Island.
A preliminary report from the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network said the quake at 8:32:51 a.m. had a magnitude of 2.5 and was 34 miles deep.
It occurred 7 miles north of Friday Harbor on Orcas Island.
No injuries or damage were reported.
