New Pictures... Summer!

The kids had their last day of school. A cause for celebration! Ethan will be in 2nd Grade next year and Kira will be in 4th. They had a great school year. Good reports all round.

Michelle came round to help with the banners, and hang out with the beans.

The sunsets are getting better every evening. They make an orange glow on the white wall in the living room.

Mike came around to take look at our car (it was making a weird noise) He was attacked by some scary creatures...

Here is K-girl's latest creation. It was still warm from the kiln when she brought it home. Nice job.

Ethan has his friend Finn over the other day for the afternoon. They had a blast. Summer is officially here as of tomorrow, and we are blessed!

Ethan's latest Lego creation. A bridge spanning the great gulf between his desks. Apparently the bridge tastes good.

We had a visit from Nate Saxe. He and his wonderful family are missionaries in Spain, and Nate was over for his parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Nate is on the left here with his brother Andy, and Andy's son Calvin.

Ladies and gentlemen we present to you.... Elijah Luke Griffith, son of Bryan and Meredith, and little brother to Meriel. We think you'll agree that he is a good loookin' little guy.

Parenthood, the hardest, best job you'll ever have.

Kira took part in a concert at the Orcas Center last night. A bunch of kids sang "Let's Go Fly a Kite." Ronna and Kira stayed to watch the rest of the concert. Kira is singing again in the same show this evening.

There was a chocolate fountain during the intermission.
