Camp Orkila Field trip

I went with the kids on Thursday to Camp Orkila for an all day field trip. It was really fun. Kira and Ethan's class rode there together and had lunch together so it was easy for me to switch between the two. I have some cool video of the "big swing" to add tomorrow but here are a few photos for now. Ethan's class playing a interesting version of Red Light Green Light. The deer were trying to play as well. They had to be "shoo'd" away from our bags. They are kind of pests really. It's good for them that they are kind of cute!

learning about the salmon life cycle.
Inside the learning center. Ethan up close with some Sea Bass.

Kira with Katie and Payton. They made their own invertebrate.
Kira's class. Sharon Harvey is her teacher.
Ethan's class with Matthew Chasanoff as his teacher. We are really happy with both of the teachers this year.
Back to school for a quick rest.

Some free choice time. We made clay StarWars figures....I got brownie points with Ethan's friends for being able to make a good clay R2D2!! Mom points, I'll take them whenever I can! :)
