Camping.. Summer in Eastern Wa

We had to go over the mountains to get some REAL sunshine! We had a nice 4 nights in Winthrop WA. It reached 98 degrees on the day we went tubing down the river. It was fantastic! We drove the North cascades hwy loop .


This bridge off hwy 20 always freaks me out. You can see straight down to the bottom. It makes me want to throw up! Truly scary.. to me anyway!

We spent a day at patterson lake.

It was Grant's day to fish! He caught two Kokanee that we cooked over the fire later that night. Delicious!

We learned more about our kids on this trip... that is true! And they could probably say the same about us!
